Karaikudi Seepu Seedai

The town of Karaikudi is as famous for its Chettiar mansions as it is for Seepu Seedai. Traditionally made in local kitchens during the festival of Diwali with family members coming together to pitch in, this savoury, finger-ring shaped food treasure gets its unique flavour from coconut milk.
